Forum, Shizuko's Daughter due by 11/09 & 11/16
Forum Directions: Read the questions below and pick the question that interests you most to answer. Add your first post by the first Saturday. Remember you can't see what others have written until your write your first post.
Check in throughout the week and read other students posts. Before midnight on the second Saturday respond to a fellow student's comments on another question in your second post. Be sure you respond to a post tackling a different question so I can get a more fleshed out sense of your understanding of at least two of the book's themes/concepts. Your second post should both address your fellow student's points and like your first post talk in depth about your own response to that question.
Your first and second post are each worth 25 points, for 50 pts total each week. Both entries should be equally developed. Do write substantial detailed posts that demonstrate your understanding of and reflection on our readings. As always, back up your responses with textual support and page numbers. Quotations are excellent references, but the bulk of the writing content must be your own. You should average 400-800 words per post for a total of 800-1600 words each forum.
