Week 3 Forum: Credo -- Initial Posts DUE 9/12; Responses DUE 9/15

A credo is a statement of belief. The readings this week focus on professional ethics but professional ethics cannot be easily separated from your personal values and beliefs. For this forum, zero in on one personal core belief or value and explain why it is so important to you. Although it isn't required, you're encouraged to record a video to post your credo. You can do this using the "Record video" button in the Moodle editor (but you'll need a webcam and a microphone): 

If you do not have a webcam, use a smartphone. Log into elearn.nmc.edu through your phone and access this forum that way.

The title your forum post should be this (completed) sentence: "I believe in ______________."

Visit the This I Believe website for examples of topics and tips. Here are the links.

STEP 1: Click on the "Add a Discussion Topic" button below. This is where you'll post your credo and explanation. Begin your forum post with the same sentence as the forum subject ("I believe in _______________.") (6 points).

STEPS 2 & 3: Reply to two other students. Comment on their credo and share any relevant personal/professional beliefs you have (4 points). Your responses can be done with the video feature too, but you can also just type your responses.
