Module 1 Discussion Forum

I have not had any face-to-face courses. If I were to have these courses in the future, I think it would greatly depend on class size. For larger class sizes, breaking up the class into groups may be a better option. Students may feel uncomfortable in person standing (or sitting) in front of a large group, talking about themselves. In an online environment, challenges can include students not reading the other student's responses. I include in the instructions each student is to respond to another student's post. Historically I have students post a written response to the introduction, moving forward I am going to have the students post a video response.
