    Orientation: Start Here

    • These training modules are being provided to introduce you to the safe lab practices used in NMC science labs, safety equipment, and to safe procedures used when handling chemicals.  The Right-To-Understand and chemical safety components are required by OSHA and MIOSHA regulations.  Please view each presentation and submit the short quiz at the end.

      Note: Biology instructors get to take the Biosafety Quiz too!

     Older labels are being replaced with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).  Please view the video from Flinn Scientific and take the brief quiz. Save or scan the certificate and send it to Kirk so they can be compiled and saved by those nice folks at Human Resources.
