Overview: This module introduces different approaches for planning lessons, units, and an entire course. It emphasizes backward design as an effective planning methodology. Student considerations (planning for equity, accommodations, universal design, etc.) need to be addressed when planning instruction.

Final Project
The last step in the Higher Ed Teaching Series program is to share part of your experience with others at NMC. This is an opportunity to share and discuss with others ideas, projects, successes, relationships, processes, or ah-ha moments that have occurred as part of the program.
You may have explored new assessment models or tried a new active learning method or implemented a new project or tried a new communication method with your students. Share your experience.
